Ciri-ciri Descriptive Text :

• Verb yang digunakan yaitu attribute verb, seperti be (am, is, are)
• Tense yang digunakan yaitu simple present tense
• Hanya fokus pada satu objek tersebut.

 

Contoh Descriptive Text :

My cat Meowy
I met my uncle in Bandung one month ago. He gave me a cat. It is a cute cat. I was very happy at that time because given the gift of a cat. I gave the name Meowy, very funny, her hair is white, and frightening because it often is washed clean. Meowy likes a piece of fish, meat or maybe a mouse. When I came back from school, she always waited for me.

1. Identification (identifikasi) adalah pendahuluan, berupa gambaran umum tentang suatu topik.
2.Description (deskripsi) adalah berisi ciri-ciri khusus yang dimiliki benda, tempat, atau orang yang dideskripsikan.
